Take any good cookbook, such as Joy of Cooking, and use better ingredients.

Apple Cider Vinegar drink

In 2 cups of warmed distilled water dissolve, 1-2 teaspoons of raw honey and stir in 1 teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar.


If you are overweight use less honey.

Simple Cabbage Salad

Into a bowl or container with a tight fitting lid, chop or shred as you like two cups green or red cabbage. Add to this 1 0r 2 cups of chopped or shredded carrots and 1 cup of chopped onion. Make a dressing with equal parts Braggs Aminos (or substitute a small amount of tamari, fermented soy sauce, to taste) and olive oil. Add the dressing. Put on the lid and shake untyil coated.
